Power Point

Is the power point in an 05 SD hot at all times, or is it timed for 10 minutes after you shut the truck off? I assume the lighter outlet is hot at all times, right? Thanks for your reply.

on an 02 they both are hot all times.

I believe on an 05, the lighter stays hot for about 5 -10 minutes after key-off. Power Point hot all the time. I have my XM Roady plugged into power point...on all the time.
