Dana 44?

I was going to run a 4" lift with 35's and since my stock gears are 3.55 I was going to run some 4.30 gears, which would be close to stock gearing. I can't seem to find a 4.30 gear or something close to it for the dana 44 to match the 8.8 gear in the back. Also I read something about a 3.92 and higher gear in the 44 you have to use a different case, where do I get one? If I run a 4.55 in the front and 4.56 in the back that would help more in the off-road department than the highway department right?

as far as a 4.30 gear I'm not sure if that is an availible ratio or not its not the case that needs to be larger for 3.92 ratio and up its the carrier and you can buy a larger carrier to put in your housings a 4.56ratio would be better off road forsure but hard on fuel millage and highway use

4.56 is what you want. it's just a little lower than stock. You need that to turn the heavier tires and wheels. I use to run 35's.

I was looking at the Rough Country 4" lift and was wondering if its a good kit? The price looks good but I was looking at the tuff country 4" lift and it was a lot more expensive but used extended radius arms for better articulation.
