Get atleast 1,000 miles on it before you tow that trailer,,I have an 06' F-350 with the 6.0, TS, all stock almost 15 k on it now,,the truck is a pulling machine when stock,,I may some day install a tuner,,but not when it's brand new. I have 3 different trailers that I pull with the truck,,so I know how it does stock,,,,,Good luck.

I run the Big Hoss and love it. No problems to date related to the tuner. Like M350 said the stock truck runs and tows great. I personally like the added power of the Big Hoss and it's benefits of cooler Charge air from the intercooler and the larger exhaust. My trailer is almost 16k when I load it with all my stuff. I put the kit on at about 500 miles, but didn't open it up till about 1500 miles. I have towed in all the levels (except Speed loader which is level 7). I really like towing in level 6, but the power just seems to good to be true, so I usually tow in level 3 and bump it up to 4 when needed. The EGT's are VERY manageable even when towing up the Nastiest grades. The truck is already great stock and the added cooling just makes it even more of a towing machine. I never have to floor it when towing, so the EGT's are easily kept under 1300 or so. Boost runs high, sometimes 32 and I have seen for a quick second 34. The PDA seems to register higher boost levels than the stock gauge (which I have never seen over 30). The transmission is amazing. I have never gotten the trans over 190 even when it was 115 degree outside over the summer. I drive it as smart as possible and don't try to "test" it's max capabilities. I've only got 5100 miles on it so the motor is still very young. Let's just hope its lasts. ~Brad
