I want to put an egr block off on my truck (351w 94' f250 lifted with 35s) do they have any adverse effects? Would I gain any or much power? Next is the question of shakes and rattles. When Im going down the road my bed and cab shake inversly of each other. My dash and door panels rattle if Im on a rough road and its just aggervating. Do yall have this probelm?
What are rtvs? I cant figure out why the frame is not connected to bed tight and why my dash rattles when going down dirt roads. I have a stiff lift with bfg m/ts. It rides good down the highway.
And everything twisting and rattling surprises you? Have you watched ANY off road racing? Pro truck? Baja? Dakar? How many vehicles finish those events with all their body parts?
Yes but on any other truck the bed does not shake like a rocking chair by pulling or pushing on it. Now back to the smog pump (egr) I believe mine is throwing codes at the computer and either needs to be replaced or blocked off properly what should be done?
If the bed is easily moved with the truck parked then you have a rust problem or missing bolts. Should be 6 of them in there holding it on. Does the truck have a body lift?
Pull the codes from the computer and see what's up. Then go about cleaning or replacing the offending units.
Get the codes ran by someone that knows what they are doing. Then inspect everything. Usually the solenoid tends to give more problems then the EGR valve itself so you might want to check that out first. It is also cheaper. Another thing if you buy parts like the solenoid its better to get it from ford.
