cowl hood

cowl hood
so i was just looking around and i found a cowl hood for a 93-97 ranger, but the 97 ranger looks identical to my 99 ranger and i was wondering if it would fit on my 99 can anyone help me out?

Don't think so.
I have a '97, and when I got it, there was a bug guard on the front of the hood. I didn't really like it, so I offered it to a friend with an '00 (which is identical to a '99, but not a '97). It didn't fit because his hood was shaped differently than mine.
The Ranger was redesigned after '97, and if you look close enough, the body in the front is actually different (newer trucks have more stylized hoods, and bigger cabs). The beds are the same, though.
