Motor Help
Hey guys i have a 94 f150 that has 208k and i love that thing been a great truck. but during start up when its cold sounds like valves are making a clicking sound. sounds almost like a diesel. thinking im gonna be needing a motor soon. Question is does anybody know where i can get a stock crate motor? your help and ideas would be appreciated

If that's all the noise it's making, new pushrods will cure that. You've got a roller cammed motor there. Roller pushrods do not rotate and as such, wear faster than flat tappet cammed ones do. Bet they've got a nice knife edge on their top ends. Change the rockers too while you're at it.
