hooking up

Well,I got my Prodigy hooked up yesterday and today I hooked onto the TT and pulled it to the mall here in town to set it up.. I weighed the tongue with the scale and board system and got around 925+#s,so I figger that with the DWs clothes and some food and 20 gals of water in the tank that I'll be right at 1000#.. So,ok, I'll just have to get a set of 1200#wd bars..The weird thing was when I measured the wheel wells I came up with different heights.. LF was 37 1/2" and the RF was 36 1/2".. The rears were 40 1/2 and RR was 41 1/2 and that's with 45# in the ride-rites.. That means that somehow somethings messed up like a torqued body and I even triplechecked it..When I put the tt on the ball w/o the bars it was LF 37 3/4 and RF 37 3/4,while the rears were LR 39" and RR 40" and the ball went from 22 unloaded to 19 1/2"..I set the bars with the tt level (22") and the tongue was at 20" when I took it out for a run and it felt pretty good with a little porposing.I brought it back, released the chains and then raised the tongue to 24" with the power jack and then re-attached the bars and let it down and the ball was at 21 1/2"..Went back out on the road and it felt really good even up to 70 for a short time..
I am wondering if I should increase the pressure in the bags or what to stop it from lowering that much.. My suburban didn't lose that much height...

It sounds like you need to lower the ball height a little. With a WD hitch, the theory is you can pull the trailer with rear tires. The front tires and trailer tires are supporting the entire weight (not really the case, but they do the bulk of the work). You can try adding air to trailer to get it back up. Just an idea.
