somewhere i read that if you asked ford they would send a biuld sheet for your truck. i want one for my 51. does anyone know how to do this?

I went to the Ford website and dug around until i found an e-mail form. They were real prompt in getting in touch with me (within hours), thew were also real nice people. They could not give me a build sheet because they didn't start ceeping computer records untill 1966 or so, but they will decode your v.i.n. for you. lots of luck.

That would be your VIN# Vehicle identification number, it will tell you the year, engine, manufacture date, etc.

G, go to ford.com and do a search for e-mail, then e-mail your request. Also, make sure you send V.I.N and any other data plate numbers. Ford Research dept was prompt in getting in touch with me.
