idle surge
Hoping someone can solve my problem. I have a 1987 F150 4.9. It will start fine, but when it idles it surges up and down, up and down. I've changed the plugs, wires, distibutor cap and button, cleaned the egr valve, and have no idea what else to do. It drives fine but just won't idle steady.

Ford calls this problem rolling idle.
