Advice on Guages
Guys-
First time owner of a 06 FX4 F250 Superduty with a 6.0L Diesel. I am looking at guages to put in her what do you guys recommend? Obviously a Pyrometer but any others you think I should have? Stock guages come with the boost, trans temp, and water temp but I don't know how accurate they are. IF they are like Chevy's they lie like hell. Advice is greatly appreciated...I am looking at Autometer guages just not sure what I should have. I use my girl for a daily driver, she tows a 22ft boat in the summer, and a 30 ft toyhauler in the desert. She is currently running 20 inch rims, 37" Toyo's, on a 6 Fabtech 4 link lift.

Do a search on gauges, lots of info in the forums on them.
Basically, EGT, Boost, Trans Temp and if you want a 4th, Volts, since they don't come with one.
Yes the Ford gauges are damped so that the response is slow movement over a wide range. Aftermarket gauges are alot more accurate. Guys are using both Autometer and ISSPRO.
I prefer ISSPRO myself, but others are just as happy with Autometer.
