OEM Tire Size

Does anybody happen to know what the largest size tire Ford put on the 1978 F-250 from the factory(camper special, sno-fighter, etc it doesn't matter which sub-model)? I need to find this out because the current NJ lift laws state that a tire can't be more than 6" taller than the largest OEM offering for that vehicle.

I'm thinking it would have either had 8.75 x 16.5 or 9.50 x 16.5s (my '79 C/S has 9.50s). They're roughly the same overall height as today's P235/85-16s, which figure out to ~32 inches.
