Hey I'm looking at a 1991 ford dump with a 7.3 deisel. It has about 110,000 with a new tranny. The dump bed is perfect and it comes with new front fenders. I paint and do bodywork so thats cool with me. He want $5000 for it. I've read that these engines are reliable! It has been maintained and he uses it like twice a year. What do you guys think? Thank You!
Ford diesel trucks do bring premium prices.
A fellow just sold a 97 4x4 crew cab 5 speed with 97,000 miles on it for 15,000 here.
That was more than I would give him, but he got it.
5,000 dollars for a 91 is just a little high since it also needs some body work, but he will probably be able to get his price if he sticks to it.
If the truck is a 4x4 manual tranny the price is about right.
