Slop in the steering
I have a 2005 V-10 X Limited with about 13K on it. I have a little slop in the steering. I have to turn the wheel about 10-20 degrees before getting any movement in the steering when switching directions. So as I am driving down the road making all of those tiny corrections, it is cumbersome. Any suggestions?

I have exactly the same thing. I was having the alignment checked and asked them about it. They said it was the steering gearbox. First, they said it was adjustable, but they couldn't adjust it. Later, they said they could adjust it, but had to research more on it(they weren't sure how much it could be adjusted without it binding). They also said it woud be $1000 for a set of bilsteins, so I opted to go somewhere else for any work at all. Anyway, I know this isn't much help, but I'm in the same boat. When I replace the tires next month, I'm going to ask someone else for their opinion.

Search my posts. I don't have many so it's easy to find.
The procedure is simple and easy to do yourself, just be sure to test drive at low speed and make sure you didn't tighten it so much that the steering sticks in very tight turns.
