hot trans
Recently installed a trans. temp. gage. Instructions didn't say where to locate the sending unit so I put it near the trans, in the out put line. The gage quickly(in a couple of minutes) pegs out at 250 degrees. Should the sending unit be on the return line or mabe near the radiater. I've never had any problems with the trans, that's why I'm thinking mabe it's a installation problem.
