Can anyone tell me how to adjust the e-brake cable? It's too cold out side for me to figure it out myself. Thanks.

Clayton

P.S. Remember it's a '52 F-1.

If yours is like the one used on my 53 - it is simple.

E brake off - under the bed - about half way towards the back you will see where two cables run from the rear wheels to a yoke.

On the forward side of the yoke is a single cable.

Before you adjust the yokes position - pull on both of the cables going back to the wheels - if the move good go ahead and adjust the cables at the yoke - if they don't wait for spring to free/fix them.

Slack the forward nut - tighten the rear nut until most of the play is out of the cables - leave a little. I leave 1/2" to 3/4" "droop"

Go pull on the brake handle - it should come up about 6 clicks and stop.

Readjust the yoke if needed.

Each cable connection has a section that is threaded and runs thru a yoke/clevis type attachment. Remove the cotterpin, turn the clevis a few turns to shorten the cable length - don't forget to re-insert the cotter pin.

Good news, though, there is also a clevis hookup on the handle under the dash, so you might not have to crawl under!!!!
