8 bolts and a plug. probably the gas filler will need disconnected too. depending on how much trouble the carriage bolts give you, it could be done in as little as an hour if your not painting it.

If Liquid Wrench or PB Blaster doesn't loosen up the carriage bolts enough to remove (impact wrench could be your friend here), then plan to take a small grinder and cut the bed bolt heads off, cutting in a square pattern like the square hole beneath them, and drive through.

that works if you bed wasn't like mine. my truck spent it's life as a lwn spraying truck, the only part of the bed left was the side panels and the rails under the floor..so i torched them out
