Mickey T's or BFG's ????

I had BFG AT KO's on my F150 and really enjoyed them. I know you can get a ton of mileage out of them and they handle well while keeping the noise low, BUT I was thinking about something diffrent for the F250. I currently have brand X 315/75/16 on the truck. The wheels are staying. So the question is will the Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ give me the same life span as the BFG's? What else would you recommend?

The truck goes offroad a dozen time a year, but spends alot of time pulling boats up slippery boat ramps. I want something not to aggressive and quite on the highway. Thanks.

I have the BFGs and have ran them on just about every 4x4 truck that I ever had. They ride nice and they're quiet and they do what they have to do when the time comes. But.....those MT Bajas sure are sharp looking.

i was about to go with a Mickey Thompson ATZ when i bought my new wheel setup, but i decided i didnt want a 15.50 tire. however, the tread pattern looks cool, and the noise should be low on the highway. it all comes down to what you want, do you want to fit in with everyone or be different? i have never seen a truck on the street (superduty) with ATZ's on. sure, i have in pics, but not in person. but, also that may be saying something right there.

I'll be spending the money on the BFG's the next time around specifically for the increased lifespan. I'm sick of putting tires on it every year and a half.

I think that pretty much sells me on the BFGs. Who wants to buy a set of tires every year?

Lots of votes for the BFG's. Anybody have experience with Yokohama Geolanders. Having had the BFG's I will be disappointed in anything less.

I had Yokohamas on my Dodge (don't throw rocks, I dumped it) and they wore pretty fast. They weren't Geolanders though. Can't remember the model but they had a really cool looking tread pattern.

Stay away from the MT's. I had a set and got right around 10k on them. That's was going easy on them.

That sums it up! BFG's it is. What are those guys at BFG doing so different than everyone else? They build a great tire. Why can't anyone compete?

I also had really good luck from Durango XTR's but now I can't find them anywhere. I think they quit making them. I had close to 70k on a set.
