I think it would be sort of unique and cool to add some clearance lights like the heavy duty trucks. How hard would it be to do so? I believe RECON makes the lights in LED. I did a couple of searches because I recall someone on this board doing that install.
I've also wondered about getting some clearance lights. I was looking at getting a Cummins Dodge before I decided on the F150 and I was dead set on getting one with the lights on it. I think it looks pretty tough. Not sure how the F150 would look though. Shouldn't be that hard to wire up, I just couldn't bring myself to drilling holes in the roof of my truck just yet though. Let us know if you find something.

I plan to do this to my truck to, maybe next year though. Look in my gallery. I have a picture in their from a guy's truck that has them on it. I can't seem to get into my gallery for some reason so I can't post it. Every time I try my cpu locks up with page not responding end task now. I can't figure out what's that all about. But it looks really good imo. I found these ligh kits for under 50 dollars. But when I try to add the link to my message it doesn't post anything. If you want the info let me know.

ralph, is this the picture you were talking about?
Yes, Thanks Bob for posting that for me. I'm still not sure why I'm not able to access my gallery. I most have messed up a setting on my cpu. I added it to my gallery yesterday. That's what puzzles me.
If you don't focus on all the other stuff on the truck it looks pretty cool. I just realized that I probably wouldn't be able to run those because of my siruis satellite receiver. It looks like its in the area that the passenger light would be mounted...Oh well.

You can put the lights where you want . The can be moved over and spaced around that.
Yeah, I considered that but I think it would look cluttered. Having those lights there with a little black pod right in the middle of them wouldn't look good to me.
