WIll my transfercase fit?
I am looking to do a 302 to 351 swap in my 89 f250 4x4. I currently have a mazda 5-speed. Will the transfercase off my mazda tranny fit onto a zf 4x4 tranny? Please Help. Thanks for your time. -Jake

I will say it wont. Ive only found borg warner 1345's behind the 5-speed mazda trannies to MY knowledge. If u were going to swap trannies with transfer cases the 1345 might not fit if i can remember. Youll have an easier time finding a borg warner 1356 which will bolt right behind a zf 4x4 trans and have sum cheap insurance for strength.

Well again im just going on my knowledge. I had a buddy who i helped do a mazda to zf trans swap in a 92' f-150 with a 302 and if i remebered he had sum trouble with the depth of the driveline due to the transfer case shifter linkage clearing the floor. Ive never tried a 1345 behind a zf before.
