i did it just like the diesel's just mounted a battery with some screw down mounts and ran pos. to pos and grounded neg to the frame. it works but you pull power off both not just one so it can drain them both if left on. a battery isolator would give you more options but this works for me. with all my tv's on and the stereo up on 10-12 my lights will go almost out! (before the duals)

thats cool but wont the air filter thingy get in the way? it also has a selector for dual on, dual off, and emergency? if you have the selector to dual on, and forget to set the switch to dual off, wont it kill both batts if you leave something on? it doesn't really seem like an isolator does it? i guess ill call them to see how it works. oh, $400 seems way steep. you could buy a ford battery tray for a diesel X, and some -2 battery cable for a whole lot less.
