frame mounts

my 82 f150 4X4's 300-6 decided to retire itself.ibolted in a 302 i had laying around, but the 302 mounts sit about 5" back from the frame mounts. anyone have the correct mounts for this swap or know of an aftermarket kit ?

just unbolt a pair from a non-460 v8 early 80's 4x4 truck. and bolt them in place of your 300-6 mounts.

you can also just unbolt the mounts on the frame cause they are the same set used for the 302 and 300,just move the mount to the other set of holes on the frame

i appreciate your thought too. i just went out & looked with a flashlight since i had already removed the mounts. might have to rearrange the brake lines a little
