Smile Lurching Update

For the handful that had similar, here's what the end result is at for now.
The exhaust sounds, as suspected, was an exhaust leak. Specifically from the turbo. That, fortunately, was easily remedied. But what a monumental difference sealing up the leak made. I knew something was amiss when I could only make about 9 lbs of boost. Now 25 is pretty easy.
The lurching, I tried on a number of theories and one by one ruled them out until the only one left was air in the oil. And then I read a post here from someone commenting that if you work on your HPOP, you could get air in there and it might take a bit to work out, and I ran it all by the mechanic, who had the truck half a day and drove it. He agrees. And more weight to the story, the issue is lessening day by day. I almost cant make it do it today.
So for now, I'm going to rule the lurching issue as air in the oil (just put in a stealth) and the exhaust leak as something I'll always be more aware of. It cost me about 3mpg. What a difference.

oh, i didnt not see that you had a dual HPOP system RECENTLY installed. i thought it was on there for a bit, and the air was worked out of the system. however, i didn't know, but i could have recommended that. oh well, it's good that you got it worked out.

where specifically was the exhaust leaking?
