coolant leak
My son has an "03 and is losoing coolant.
Tech said something about the degas or however it's spelled
was cracked and leaking..
Is this an issue with 6.0"s ??
What is the cost of a new one ??
My 7.3 is fine but his isn't.. Are they the same res's ??

Cracking of the degas bottle is not a known issue to the best of my knowledge. That being said the bottle is plastic so it could crack for several different reasons.
Do not know the cost of a new bottle, you can go to discount ford parts (FTE sponsor) website and find out the cost.
