DMH Ecutout installed
Just installed a DMH Ecutout http://www.dmhperformance.com/ with a Dynomax Stainless cutout pipe on my 06 FX4 and all I can say is OMG. Mounted it just before the muffler and it is very nasty sounding when full open and no leaks when closed. Cant even tell it is on the truck when closed which is a must. I did notice a small loss of low end torque but a gain on the upper end which is what Dave @ DMH told me when I ordered it. What is nice is that I can just open it about 1/4 way for cruising and it is loud but not as obnoxious as it is full open. With the money I saved from not buying a full cat back I purchased a Volant cold air intake and the combination of the two at WOT scares old people and little kids 
I highly recommend it if you want the best of both worlds.
