My 05 Harley's the same...

 

I had the diesel emblems taken off my 04 harley for the same reason ford says, and they were gawty. I think the 05/06 harleys look ten times better. Congrats on the new ride Kevin...looks like you're building a better truck already. Its gonna be hard to top the old one.

 

Hey thanks guys! I can't tell you guys how great it is to be down here. Marty and his crew have been bustin their azzes on my truck...and they have really gone out of their way to make me feel at home....as they do for all of their customers. My truck should be on the ground tomorrow I can't freakin wait!!!




I have posted this on another site and I am doing here as well because good people like this deserve to be recognized.

There was a soldier who was just getting ready to come home from his second tour in Iraq. He was 10 months into his second tour when his truck was stolen. The soldiers mother got on the local news to plead with people to keep an eye out for his truck because of how much it meant to her son. Marty saw the interview and after much searching was able to contact the mother. Marty had never met the guy before and didn't know him at all. Marty got everything and built this soldiers new truck up...can you believe that? ...and when I say he "built" this soldiers truck....I mean he "BUILT" this soldiers truck.... We are not talking about a few simple MODs here. Marty and his crew went all out with top of the line stuff....interior, exterior, lift, wheels, tires, etc... He even customized the interior and had had the soldiers unit patch sewn into the headrest. I had the pleasure of meeting this young Sergeant yesterday and let me tell you that it meant the world to him that someone would do something like this for him....I could see it in his eyes. I was told that there wasn't a dry eye in the shop when they gave him his new truck back.

I think that speaks volumes about the caliber of people we have working at this shop.... and I am proud to know them

 

I took the Powerstroke sitckers and the Harley Davisdon 4x4 stickers off too!!!

Just the chrome badges and the flames. I like the clean look. I did the same for my wife's Harley Davidson F150.

Good story, Bear. Doing emergency services, we tend to see the worst in people. It's always good to see that there are indeed a few decent people left in the world.

Give the crew my compliments on a job well done.

 

That's an awesome story. Makes me glad I chose to spend my money with Truck Toyz and reinforces what I already knew in my short conversations with them. It's good to see people giving back.

did they have all the parts aside ready to build in a week, or are you building as you get parts in the mail?

those guys at TT look like a great bunch of guys, and a great shop. i would love to meet them, or more specifically, send my truck there!

I just want you to know that I am highly jealous... that is a beautiful truck!! Even without the axles on it... it still looks better than my truck!! What a shame... Congratulations, it's about time you got some wheels!!
