Bama Chips + Turbos.
Ok. I tried to talk to doug last night, but when the phone rang, i dropped it, and the thig shattered. so, i'm ganna call him today. from his e-mail, he seems relitivaly excited about the whole idea, and is thinking getting a kit for himself.
For those who dont know. i'm gonna make turbos for the ranger and f-150 models, and with the help of doug, offer a kit with a computer and the turbo pretuned for best performance. The tuning should work on 4.0, 3.0, & 2.3L (i think it's 2.3 that the latest) for the Rangers. And all models of the F-150 that are fuel injected.
If you have and inqueries, or ideas, be spoken.
Oh then i need to get ahold of bob jones, if anybody sees him.

Also Alan, the same tune can't work on all 3 ranger motors, you'll need a tune for each. Also focus sport has a turbo kit out for the 2.3 duratec focus like whats in the ranger, you might pick up some idea's from thier kit to help you design one for the ranger as far as the 4 cylinder goes. Thier kit won't fit the ranger, it's designed for the focus, where the motor sets crossways. I think a turbo kit for the 4 cylinder ranger would be the bomb, you would have the hp of a 4.0, but the mpg of a 4 banger.

Yea, i know that it will need alot of different programs. thats why i am working with bama chips, else i'ld just build alot of the setup i'm running. The four banger is what i am expecting this to be biggest on, though to make a kit for it, i think i'll end up needing to buy one, unless someone wants to offer theirs up in sacrifice. lol. hey wendell, i just noticed something, YOU GOT A JEEP, THATS LIKE OWNING A DODGE!! ha, now your in the same boat as me

Don't use jeep and dodge in the same sentence, they just both happened to be owned by chrysler. I've owned jeeps by *****'s, kaiser and american motors as well, I just love jeeps, fords and jeeps. Did you know that the Dodge brothers use to work for Henery Ford back in the day ? Henery gave them thier start in the automotive industry. So, if it wasn't for ford, there would be no dodge hee hee !!!!! Also ford built jeeps during WW II , they looked identical to the *****'s jeeps, ford also built airplanes, ford is just an awesome company, "what can I say".
