$31,900.00 drive out .I tried a dozen dealers this is best price I could get. So is this a average deal or could I do better?

I said drive out but forgot to mention tax & title!!

That sounds pretty good...the best deals we ever got are by doing our homework with fightingchance.com You order the package and they send you a current copy of CarDeals plus all the hot info on the model you are looking at..they tell you all about the cash to buyer incentives, factory to dealer incentives, holdback fees, and the blue oval kickback fee.

We walked in with our "offer" written on a peice of paper...It took them five minutes to accept our offer.......$500 over invoice for a 2002 F250 4x4 CC XLT

Most people do this with a "fax attack" and fax the offer to 15 to 20 dealers in the area...

It's a little late now...but keep fightingchance.com in mind next time you buy a car....I am sure I got the absolute best deal....I know what their bottom line is....without the headgames and b.s. I hate car dealers and the whole buying process. This is the best way to go.

I guess it's a fair price though i've heard of people paying less.I myself feel i got a very good price on mine.It stickered at 42,500 and i got it out the door for 35,500.i got the 250,4x4 lariat crew cab,off road package and all the bells and whistles.To be truthful,this is the first time i walked out of the dealer feeling like i got the best deal i could have.Any other time i felt like i got f****d,especially after getting it home and relly looking at the numbers on paper.When the guy gave me the diesel for nothing i could'nt pass it up.Apparently he ordered it for someone and either the deal fell thru or the guy backed out of it.I guess being in the right place at the right time played a big part in it too.I mean they were going to have to sit on this truck and i guess they just wanted it off the lot.The sales man also wasnt a bulls**T artist,and was very up front and honest.I guess it all depends on how comfortable you feel AFTER the sale too.Also it helped that i plinked down 15,000 in cash thats always a heartbreaker though.Anyway,good luck with it and i can tell you(as will lots of others on this sight)that you made a good choice with the powerstroke.You will definately be happy with it.Keep on truckin brother

I didn't see a mention of body style, did I miss it. I am assuming that it is a Regular Cab XLT???

I think that it was a good price considering you got the disel. The disel engines usually boost the price about $5,000.
