Baffles?

Do the ford Cat's have any more baffles then any other truck? I just wonder why ford is the quietest as far as exhaust and what not..

I do not think it is the cat's that keep it quiet, but that big old piece of muffler hanging under the truck.

well, you put the same system on a chevy and a ford -- the chevy is a lot louder -- why would this be?

The vortec makes a different exhaust sound than an overhead cam engine when I put on my magnaflow the shop cut the top off my factory muffler from when it goes in it crosses over 4 times before it goes out the back but in all honesty the magnaflow is a straight through muff and it sounds great but I can't notice any more power or mileage??
