i need advice!
i have a 87' f 250 with a manul 4spd with the granny gear..i know thats the other fourm but i dont want fuel injection..i have an edlebrock rpm performer intake..holley600 carb and a crane cam ready for my small block 302..but since it wus set up for fuel injection.. i need to change the fuel pump and ignition..please if anyone has any advice on what parts i need or any advice at all id highly appriciate it! thanks ..

in case you haven't gotten any advice yet[i don't play on the computer much]-i did the 5.0 swap on my 87 t-bird turbo coupe- as for fuel pump i wired in at the safety relay which on the bird is pink and gray wires.a lot simplier than changing tank sending unit,timing cover, lines etc.for ignition you could ****** a duraspark11 system out of an older truck-mid 70's to early 80's or-- even simplier i took a points distributer and put a module to replace the points[pertronics i think the brand]. a lot of people disagree with me, but personally i prefer to tell the engine what to do-not a computer running the show-just too old fashioned i guess. good luck!
