Hello All,
I have just purchased a 2004 F250 6.0 and would like an oasis report. I am new to this forum and have never heard of this report but it looks like it can provide some valuable information. Here is the VIN 1FTNX21P24EA82881.
Thanks for any info and am looking forward to the forum.
Maybe you'll get lucky and somebody here will run it for you but typically you would ask this from your dealer that you work with and typically you will want to look at an OASIS report BEFORE you buy, this way you know what your getting into.
If you dont work with any dealer, i would establish a relationship with one, start with an oil change or somthing like that, they can be invaluable in helping you with any problems you may have or explaining the OASIS to you.
Normally they're not free. Pay the $20 bucks or so and have a/the dealer run one for you. The dealer could best answer any ??? that you might have if the report comes up with any history.

Welcome to FTE!
Looks like you found yourself a solid SD. Congrats...and many happy years!

INCORRECT!
An OASIS report costs nothing. If there are any dealers out there charging for it, I'd love to report them to Ford.
The only cost to the dealer is the paper it's printed on.
One thing missing from that report, vloney, is there any warranty left on it?
Howdy, new member here, I just totaled my F150 screw, and am looking at an F250 crew 6.0 with 82000, vin 1FTNW21P74EC77832, (I have the loan check in hand,) but maybe 1 of you kind souls could ease my mind....
Just as krewat stated it shouldnt cost you a penny. Before i bought my truck off of a private seller i called my local ford dealer and had them run a report and fax it to me, with No Charge. They were very kind. Only thing was finding a person at the dealer that knew what a Oasis report was. After being transfered a few times ands 3 min later i was reading the Oasis Report that was faxed to my work. And even called back to have the guy translate some of the things in english to me that were on the report. But after hearing to watch out for the problems with the 03 6.0s the report eased my mind and i havent had any problems with the truck so far, Knock on wood.
My bad,
I musta been thinking of a Carfax report. Been shopping for a new ride for the daughter and I've had carfax on the brain lately.
...won't happen again.
