best tuner
I have a 02 f250 with a 7.3l no modes yet i plan to start with a tuner. I tow a 7k flat bed trailer average 2 or 3 time a week on varing terrain. I am toking for the best tuner for my money.

I think the best bang for the buck would be a reflashed PCM from jody, about a 60hp tow setting should do. Think it's $75 plus your PCM, not sure if he's got an exchange program available. Look at http://www.dp-tuner.com/
If your gonna be towing you really need an EGT gauge.
