Question 'BREAK' pedal...

i have an '03 f150 supercrew 4x4 - with BARELY 34k on it...(only 4k since shes been mine!) and the friggin' brake pedal seems to either be loose - it has a lateral wobble (which i expect is NOT NORMAL)...i inspected it - and it seems to be loose inSIDE the cylinder protruding from the firewall...everything else seems to be solid...just the actual pedal wiggles TOO much!!

please tell me thats not how it supposed to be...i have a 20 year old BRONCO with well over 7 TIMES the mileage - and that dang pedal is rock solid!!

am i crazy -or just stupid?!

I have a 2001 supercrew and the pedel also moves side to side but I have figured out if you push the button that moves the pedel up and down to the full down position it will stiffen up

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh...i see" said the blind man - but it still kinda sucks...now i know not to ask them to look in to it next time im @ the dealer...(i can almost see the bill for the PHANTOM repair now - YIKES!!

well - that being said - the truck still kicks ***...i just need to gear down, add some headers and then we'll start getting somewhere...

i cant wait.

thanks for calming me down...its been bothering me for the last month!!

seen alot of these trucks do it. it is due to the adjustable pedals and the way the have to have clearance to move freely.
