Smile Hello

Hello, newbe here.
Looking for info on 97 f350 dually, diesel with 5spd trans and 133k miles. It seams to have been well cared for and in excellent shape. just wondering what kind of problems to look for at this mileage and age. It still has original clutch, but seems to work well in the drive. also would $8k be a fair price? Thanks in advance for any replys. Rich

There are not too many problems to look for. Cam position sensor, keep a spare in the glove box is a good idea. The stock clutch setup may not be long for the world. The stock dual mass flywheel is junk and is most commonly replaces by the LUK single mass flywheel. Those are the only two things I can think of off the top of my head.

Welcome to the forums. You are gonna learn a great deal about your truck in these pages. I know I did.

A good page to know is Steve Baz's page. Search him on google and the results will come up with something like Baz's page, or prodegy.net or something along those lines. He has a ton of stuff that is very helpfull. and if you can't find it, I know someone here has the link. Good luck to you and see you on the forums.
