engine swap header help

Hello everybody,

I am currently working on my 59 f-100. I am doing an engine swap to a 460/c-6 and need to know if anyone has done the conversion, what headers were used. I have a set, but I am almost sure they will not fit. If anyone can help me please let me know where and what kind I can get that requires little or no modifications.

Thanks All,

Rich

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-Jan-03 AT 09:46 PM (EST)]Equal length will obviously be a more difficult fit than block huggers. I have Doug Thorley headers in my '59 F100, but they're on a SB 302. If I were you, I'd call Thorley and ask what they think will fit, given your application. They might have had similar experiences with the same applications.

Daryl

P.S.- just curious: what rear end gears are you running with the 460/C6 combo? Reason I ask is: more than a couple of FTE'ers herein have posted comments that with that combo, it's hard to keep traction!
