Transmission E4OD
I want some information on the E4OD and technical information what not and know how like how much torque it can handle if anyone has info or a website cause i cant seem to get no info on google except shift kits. what do shift kits do anyway???.

Well im kind of new on the shift kits but here is what i know they help the transmission shift smoother and all that kind of firms it up makes it stronger overall the tranny performs better i beleive if you decide to have a lot of torque go with a shift kit cause these E4OD arent made for a lot of torque from what i heard they are pretty weak cause of all the electronics on it and stuff and that is why on the early 90's lightnings with the 5.8L HO Ford modded the E4OD to handle the power and torque
