Don't Do It
On a vehicle produced in the last 20 years the only thing undercoating will do for you is trap moisture and salt in any cracks, thus accelerating rusting. No manufacture that I know of recommends it; they however don’t want to get the dealers mad by discouraging a very profitable operation for the dealers. Undercoating will have a small positive effect when it comes to soundproofing.

I did mine myself , I used to work for a major rustproofer , the 2nd post is correct if the vehicle isn't perfectly clean & without moisture , it will form pockets of dirt ! I bought my supplies from the eastwood co , hvlp srpay gun and undercoating, I did the truck the day a brought it home , going on 3 years not one sign of trapped dirt or lifting , but truck was 100% clean ,If I was thinking about it on a used truck I would say no !, and mix used motor oil and kerosene together put in a sprayer and coat the under carriage every couple years , did you ever see a oil coated farm impliment rust !
