Seat Belt question
Presently own a 05' F150 supercrew - thinking about upgrading to an Excursion. Have three kids and need to know if the second row and third row of seats have a "shoulder" seat belt for the middle person.

I don't know about other models, but I have an '05 Excursion Limited and there is only a lap belt in both middle positions (2nd row and 3rd row). I'm OK with that, however, because I think the weight of the vehicle gives me a larger safety advantage than shoulder belts would. It would be nice to have both, but I would rather be in the Excursion without a shoulder belt than in a smaller vehicle with a shoulder belt during an accident.

Not sure about the second row, as mine has the rear captain chairs and we have a child seat in each chair. The 3rd row has 2 shoulder (3 point) belts and a lap belt in the middle though. We love the second row chairs becaus it makes the 3rd row more accessible, but you may not want one of your kids in the back row all the time... Good luck, the X is a great family hauler!
