T-case stuck in 4-low
1978 f-250. D60 front, np205, c6. Locked the hubs and shifted into 4-low from 2hi and everything was fine. Put it back in neutral, hubs are stuck, and so is the transfer case. Neither one will budge. Hubs I can always change, I'm just worried about the t-case. I really need to get this fixed so I can get to work tomorrow. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try driving the truck forward a few feet then stop and back up. Then go forward a bit and snick the c6 in to nuetral, then while almost coasting to a stop, see if the t-case will slip in to nuetral with a little jiggling. Sometimes the gears will keep pressure against themselves causing them to "stick". Works on my 79 w/np435/np203. The hubs should unlock the same way. unless something has been damaged and you just dont know it. good luck
