Rnager Rotors
I was inspecting my brake pads for a possible replacement last night and I noticed that the rotors have some, for lack of better words, "pitting" in them. They look like little divits and then a comet trail behind them.
I have never seen this before. Is this a Ford thing? Is it a bad thing?
I did not want to put new pads on these rotors, I have about another 5,000 miles left on the pads anyways. So I am sure that I will be getting new rotors in the future before I put on some new pads but I was just curios about these rotors and why this is happening. Any insight would be much appreciated. More curious as to why this has happened than anything.
If this is a Ford thing, I will not be getting sotck Ford rotors for the replacements.
Thanks,
Nate
