engine swap

I want to replace the 2.0 engine in my 84 with a 2.9 from an 86. I would like to take the transmission and all with the new engine. Is this possible? what are the differences in motor mounts and transmission mounts?

You'll need the mounts, computer and wiring harness, also an electric fuel pump. My 84 2.3 was a carbed engine, where as the 2.9's are fuel injected.

From: Cisco, TX pop: 2500

If the tranny is different, you will want the tranny crossmember.
