how rare?
i just picked up a 85 f250 w/460 4speed 4x4 thisthing seems to be pretty heavyduty was wanderin if this thing might be kinda rare havin a bigblock mabe get some pointers on week spots in the power train do to the meyers plow want to fix any problems befor i need to plow snow. do anyone know what axles should be under it cuzz the rearend dont look like no dana thanks wizz it might be a 350 dont know forshure the emblems are gone

The F-250's had a Heavy duty option, my truck is one of them. You probably have a D50 front axle, and a full-float sterling 10.25 rear axle. The only weak spot I have found so far is in my wallet when I have to get the thing aligned. It has special bushings, it takes 2 hours and costs $150.

it might be the hd option the guy i got it from say it a 250 do that sterling axle look bigger than a 60? im just used to all the 79 and older stuff i see the t-case is aluminum and probly a cain drive unit mabe someday ill swap it out for a 205
