Winter is aproaching.

Those freezing temperatures will be creeping upon us soon. For those of us who have not done so already now might be a good time to think about winterizing our homes and vehicles. I know I let it creep up on me most years then when the news says freezing temperatures I am making a mad dash to get it all done. Sometimes you have things stored up that need winterized and you forget. Out of sight out of mind. Happened to me with my pressure washer last year and ofcourse my strainer froze and busted. Just a reminder to make sure everyone is more prepared than I usually am.

Here is a thread from Greywolf that is worth looking at on the same subject. His post is very well stated and deals alot with the safety aspects of heating.

Well it looks like the cold weather will be biting hard over the next week. Be sure your outside animals have plenty of straw. If you hunt or have to work outside be mindful of hypothermia. Hope everyone can be safe and warm.
