I'm about to get an 04 F150 lariat, the dealer tells me it has the single disk radio... I’m not sure if that’s true but at the time I didn’t know how to quickly tell the difference. Anyways in the current truck I have a tape deck adaptor for my ipod, but these newer ones have done away with that. I've heard of products that can plug into the stockers and maybe even control the ipod a little but those were before the in dash changers, so there was a changer connection. Is there still a way on these newer ones to hook up an ipod? It has a sunroof so I can’t use that fancy ipod dock. Someday I’d like to put in a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 so I’m kind of looking for something not too expensive as it’ll just get replaced.

You can get one that plugs into your cig lighter -- there a couple versions of it... one with a dock and one without -- btw id just go with the z-1 you can get it for about 1600
