Good lookin' 56! I viewed the pix plus the six jpeg's. Are those the "new" pix you're talking about? And how did us Californians let a nice 56 escape to Oregon??? Just kidding, I'm sure it's much happier there (clean air) than in Ca. Let me know if I missed the latest pix; the ones I viewed were dated '01.
Thanks George!
Well Daryl, Not only did I take it from my old homeland I also stole it! My uncle had been sitting on this truck since 1986. He stopped driving it because the clutch went out. He purchased a new Monte Carlo, Not sure what the heck he was thinking? My father and I had begged him for years to sell it to us but he would just not give. Late 2001 shortly after my Dad past away (His brother) I was sold the truck for a whole dollar! I wonder if he felt a little guilty. The only catch is that I give him a ride when it's finished.
Both of you have very nices rides. The two best colors for a custom effie in my book. I also happen to like black, white, blue and certain shades of green. And orange, maroon, or even primer ain't half bad either. Maybe I just like old Ford trucks.
Nice truck, Shane. Just what spurred me to write about Abe's pics... and how I am looking at the future for my '54. Says hotrod without screaming it. Like 'fenders, I enjoy the spectrum of colors that look good on trucks... but am always pleased to see something a little different. Best. himmelberg
