need help deciphering trouble code
I just got a code scanner and it pulled a P0402 code and the book says this is "exhaust gas recirculation flow excessive detected". This was accompanied with a blinking "catalyst monitor" and "evaporative system monitor" light on the reader.

What does all this mean? what is wrong with my escape?

What year and how many miles?

The faulty DPFE sensor may be covered by an additional "extended" warranty.

search DPFE, just went thru same prob. Lotsa good info. Follow the threads in my post.
