I'm performing a very slow-paced 292 rebuild. The motor is presently on an engine stand. I plan on mating this Y-block to an AOD. I would like to have the engine on a cradle for the transmission and adapter plate "dry-fit". Does anyone know of a commercially available cradle option that doesn't require massive fabrications skills?
He usually lists a Y block cradle on the Bay; in this listing, he states that he always has them available even if no specific ad at the time. Let me hasten to say that I have not tried anything from him; but he has a long history & good feedback, & the price is right. If you buy one, let us know what you think.
