got a 95 f250. the t-case hasnt been used in a year. it seem to be stuck in 4 high. i figure that if i drive it around a bit with the hubs out it would loosen up. or should i drive it with the hubs in on a dirt road.
Is the problem with the shifter itself, or is it just not disengaging after you move the shifting lever.
My brother has an F-150 and the bracket holding the t-case shift lever broke in two pieces. He can shift it by manually moving the linkage under the truck, but that's quite a pain. It's still a yard truck right now, so he hasn't bothered to get a bracket from the junk yard yet.
