Hi Everyone,
I disconnected the gas pedal cable when I chenged the air intake seals a 2 years ago and since then the pedal is really stiff and hard (I shoud be glad at my age ) It used to be really soft to depress, Now it gets tiring after awhile to keep it depressed.
I thought I put it back the way it was but somehow I did not, Any suggestions ? By the way I disconnected it at the linkage by the intake.
The bracket that holds the cable in position near the intake has a bolt in it that will alow the cable to move. By sliding the cable up or down you can tighten up the cable resistance or slaken it. Be sure to inspect the cable for any crimps and if possible spray some lubricate into the cable housing .
