I have the Skyjacker Dual kit (part#7299) and so far it is the best one i have ever had as a dual satb kit. it mounts in line which means it has a shock going to each side of the front end there might be a pick on their web site www.skyjacker.com or www.skyjacker.tv Hope this helps

I put a single Skyjacker on my truck after the stock damper blew up. Wheel is very stable now.

The only dual kit I can think of that has both stabilizers above the tie-rod is the Dynatrac kit. But I believe that kit only comes with there axle upgrade system.

That arm is the tie-rod and it's not going anywhere. The purpose of a stabilizer is to absorb impacts that start in the wheels and move through the steering components all of the way up to the steering wheel. By attaching a shock to the axle and the tie-rod (or in some applications the drag link) you're able to absorb the shock before it gets to the steering wheel, and subsequently, you.

The way that the stabilizers you pictured are set-up, they have brackets that attach underneath the axles on the lower portion of the spring mounts using the springs U-bolts and stick out in front of the tie-rod that hold one end of the shock. There is another bracket that bolts to the tie-rod that holds the other end of the shocks. The brackets move the shocks out far enough to clear that adjusting collar (which is vital for wheel alignment).

so if it sticks out past the tie rod arm , will there be basically a hole where the stock shock was bolted and the new ones infront of it? If thats what your saying there will just be an empty spot behind the dual where the stock used to sit.....lol kinda confused (basically what im asking will that dual in that pic i listed work with my application) sorry its blurry its a cell phone shot..

Yes, the dual set-up you posted will work. Once you replace the stock with duals, the axle bracket that held the stocker on will just be an empty piece of metal sitting there. You can cut that portion of the bracket off if you want. Here's a pic of the duals on my truck (it's a bit hard to see the other shock since it sits behind the tie-rod). And another one of a close-up of the bracket (it's that rust spotted thing to the left of the u-bolts). If you look to the left side in the first pic you can see the bracket just sits there.

I think the shock in front of the tie-rod on my current set-up is throwing you off. The bracket in that second pic is on the passenger side and if you look closely in the first pic you can see it sticking down below the axle on the passenger side of the truck. My stock stabilizer looked, was mounted, and located exactly where yours currently is. That stabilizer you see in the dual set-up on mine that is in front of the tie-rod on the drivers side is attached to an aftermarket bracket.

Question: I only need one of these if I feel impacts in my steering wheel? This will not make my steering any easier?

THanks
