was wondering how easy it is to put on add a leafs to the front and rear. Has anyone installed them? The only thing is that i have a plow mount on the front and it would be a pain to take the leafs off....so i was wondering if Removing the leaf pack is required or can you jus drop the bottom of the pack out and add the one in? Also are bigg u bolts required for jus 1 leaf? Thanks, these are what im looking to get
Well, I can't answer your question, but I have been thinking about the same thing, primarily to cushion the tail end more when towing. My best resource is a guy I know who's been wrenching everything that moved for 50 years. He and I were driving last weekend and he was of the opinion that anymore, the quick and easy fix for that was the big round rubber (neoprene?) squashers that you can install. Apparently very quick and easy, you never know they're there unloaded, and accomplish the same thing.
Again, I hate trying to sound like I know more than I do, this was just the opinions of a guy I guess I have some faith & trust in. I'm still snooping around trying to learn about that option. I definately would like to squat less, and lightening the load isnt going to happen.
